Privacy Policy

Introduction

RepLedger ("we", "our", or "us") is a strength training tracker app designed to help you log workouts and track your progress. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the RepLedger mobile application (the "App").

We built RepLedger with privacy in mind. Your workout data stays on your device, and we don't operate servers that collect or store your personal information.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

When you use RepLedger, you may enter:

  • Workout data: Exercises, sets, reps, weights, and workout notes
  • Body measurements: Weight and body measurements (if you choose to track them)
  • Preferences: Your name (optional, for personalized greetings), preferred units (kg/lb), rest timer settings, and weekly workout goals

Information Collected Automatically

  • Purchase information: If you subscribe to RepLedger Pro, your purchase is processed through Apple's App Store and our subscription management provider, RevenueCat. We receive confirmation of your subscription status but do not have access to your payment details.

How Your Data is Stored

Local Storage

All your workout data, measurements, and preferences are stored locally on your device using Apple's secure data storage frameworks. This data is protected by your device's built-in encryption and security features (such as Face ID, Touch ID, or your passcode).

Device Backups

If you have iCloud Backup or local iTunes/Finder backups enabled on your device, your RepLedger data may be included in those backups. These backups are managed by Apple according to their privacy practices. You can manage your backup settings in your device's Settings app.

We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect analytics or usage data
  • We do not use tracking technologies
  • We do not sell your data to third parties
  • We do not have servers that store your workout data
  • We do not require you to create an account

Third-Party Services

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat receives:

  • A randomly generated anonymous user identifier
  • Your subscription status and purchase history with the App

RevenueCat does not receive your workout data, personal information, or device identifiers that could identify you personally.

Apple

When you make a purchase, Apple processes your payment according to their Privacy Policy. We do not have access to your payment card details or Apple ID.

Data Export

RepLedger Pro subscribers can export their workout history to CSV format. This export is generated locally on your device and is not transmitted to us.

Data Deletion

Since your data is stored locally on your device:

  • To delete all data: Uninstall the RepLedger app from your device
  • To delete specific workouts: Use the delete function within the app
  • To remove from backups: After deleting the app, create a new device backup to replace old backups containing RepLedger data

Children's Privacy

RepLedger is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information through the App, please contact us.

International Users

RepLedger is operated from Australia. If you are accessing the App from the European Union or other regions with data protection laws, please note that your data remains on your device and is not transferred to our servers. For subscription processing, RevenueCat and Apple may process data in accordance with their respective privacy policies and applicable data protection laws.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your data:

  • Access: Your data is accessible directly in the app
  • Export: Pro subscribers can export workout data to CSV
  • Deletion: Delete data by removing workouts in-app or uninstalling the app
  • Portability: Use the CSV export feature to take your data elsewhere

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
